IT'S GONNA SNOW (so say the weathermen)

It's supposed to snow here tonight. One to three inches. Very unusual for this area of the country.  We're ready for it, though. Soup in the cabinets. Logs in the fire. Electric blanket heating. Temperature dropping and becoming overcast. It's 3PM and we're waiting.........

Of course, it could just be an ice mess. Either way it looks like El Nino acted, no hurricanes and snow. And tomorrow is the big day in Atlanta. ROLL TIDE!

Oh well. Something to look forward to. Stay in and stitch!

I have some finished projects plus some family photos to show, but they will wait.  Until then, everyone bundle up and stay warm.

These photos are from Dec.11, 2008 and are shots of my backyard. I would enjoy waking up in the morning to these sights again---as long as the snow doesn't last THAT long.

They say we will be getting some snow here in Virginia too. I like it well enough from the window, but not if I have to go anywhere! Stay cosy and enjoy stitching!

Snowed in Houston, so you may really get it. Here in Central Texas we got some for about 30 minutes. Big flakes and lots of them. But then they all went away!

I saw where Houston had lots of snow. I am like you all. I love it, if I don't have to get out and drive in it. Have a good weekend.

The photos are so pretty and it must be so cosy to sit by the fire and stitch. I'll stay in and stitch too but with the air conditioner on as it is so hot here. The cats must be kept cool , thats my excuse for running the air con.
