GRACE'S RECITAL

It's been a busy two weeks. We've had to make two real quick trips to Tuscaloosa to check on my 95 year old mother-in-law. My BIL made a trip to Hawaii so we went to see if she was okay and then we returned after that on some business that needed to be taken care of. For the first time I got to sleep in the "Lincoln Bed". It belonged to her great great grand somebody or other and looks just like the one in the Lincoln Bedroom in the White House. I couldn't help wondering about the stories that old bed could tell!!!! I'm getting too old to make a trip like that in 24 hours: 6 up and 6 back.

Saturday was Grace's dance recital. This was her fourth year of study. She's really quite good. Everyone was there, including Laura's parents and brother, John, Michael and the two of us. We all went to dinner after and it was a good evening. I'm including some pictures, of course! Grace is on the left in the ballet picture: the picture of "grace". She's also wearing the orange shirt-the souvenir of the recital. The other shots are of Ann and Michael.
